TN- 2006 St Innocent Pinot Noir Temperance Hill Vineyard

Consumed over two nights. Opening showed sweet red fruit on the nose and palate. Last night the acidity took a back seat to the fruit. Dark ruby color.
The midpalate showed off some acidity and the fruit made a big splash on the medium finish.

Tonight shows a lot more complexity. The nose has picked up an earthy component.
The sweetness has fully integrated and the acidity is now on harmony with the fruit. Earthiness and mushroom are present on the midpalate and the finish remains a bit clipped with some sour red fruit essence.

Tannins are extremely soft.

Great producer and a thoroughly enjoyable bottle of wine.

I had this wine last week and found it to be better on day 2.
