2006 Scherrer Winery Syrah Timbervine Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (4/12/2010)
14.5% alcohol. Medium dark ruby red. Expressive red fruit and floral aromas. Rasberries, blueberries and white pepper dominate the palate. Rich mouthfeel, very well balanced. Lingering aftertaste. Very delicious and a screaming bargain. (91 pts.)

I take it this is less expensive than the Radio Coteau Syrah also sourced from Timbervine?
Mike’s on a Scherrer kick.
Lucky dude!
Even though I’m a big fan of Fred, I have not tasted a Scherrer Syrah!
Guys - contact Fred. I think it’s more like $20!
I was just up at the winery last weekend and got to meet Fred, Ed and Judi. If you haven’t already, make the Scherrer roady!
$18 w/ a case discount for both 06 syrahs. I love them both & reordered.
Wow… sounds like a nice deal. The Radio Coteau Timbervine Syrah is one of the better ones I have had in recent memory.
Thanks for the tasting note.
Mike- thanks for the note. Fred’s Bliss Vineyard Syrah is one of my all time favorites… I will have to check the Timbervine out some time.
