    The nose on this claims there is a huge syrah in the bottle and it doesnt lie. Beef, coffee, chocolate, and ripe dark fruits. The palate is full, with black berries, bacon fat, a little heat, a little oak and a grainy texture. Some serious black pepper on this one. Needs a year or two more but a very good drink.

Glad you liked it. I agree, this still needs time. Based off of the '05 Syrah your window is probably just about right (I LOVE the '05 right now).

Jeff if the '05 Syrah is any indication I won’t touch one for two years, like you I love the '05 I had a couple of months ago. Such a different wine than 2 years ago.
