TN: 2006 Roar Pinot Noir SLH

This was popped and poured as an accompaniment to a night at home watching March Madness. Dark garnet in the glass, earthy nose. In the mouth I was distracted at first by a little spritz, but it disappeared after a half-hour or so. The wine is dark fruit – blackberry – and truffles, with a hint of cola. Overall a pleasing wine to drink now, but I wouldn’t hold it more than a few years.

Thanks for the note Brad, I had one of these recently and totally agree with you. It was better than I was expecting though.
