    Decanted 2 hours, enjoyed over the following 3. Deep rich color. Smoky, black fruits dominate. Still tight with 5 hours of air. Nice fruit, spice, pepper, acidity peek through, gritty, earthy tannins. As with most Alder Springs offerings, this bottle has all the attributes and potential for excellence down the road. Give it a very healthy decant if you’re planning on enjoying this one over the next couple of years.

Thanks for the Brian, I’ve got a couple of these laying around that I guess wait on. Had the '06 Artefact last night and it was a OMFG experience.
