At first, the nose was all stewed vegetables, but it opened to show blackberry flavors with some minty/piney/resin notes (off-putting if present in larger quantities) and dusty undertones. On the palate, the acid is lower than I’d like but altogether it’s a satisfying drink - sort of a hypothetical cross between Geyserville and Ravenswood’s old Dickerson bottlings. Went well with my lamb that got seared on the stove and finished in the oven instead of being grilled due to rain.
