Wine had about 2 hours in the decanter before serving. Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of rose petals, cocoa, black cherries, tobacco and a bit of currant. Flavors of black cherries and black berries. Medium to bright acidity, firm tannins, full bodied. Hold. (92 pts.)
