2006 Moshin Vineyards Pinot Noir Lost Ranch - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (12/6/2009)
Seem to be back on with a good bottle here. I had forgotten how much I liked this wine when it was on. Fragrant, perfumed nose. It’s herbal too. Palate shows dark cherry, and a wonderful herbal (stemmy) spice note. Drinking quite nicely right now. Moshin can be hit or miss for me, but this was a nice '06.

Nice note, Dennis. Moshin delivers excellent wine. They fly under the radar too much. I really dig the style.
Visited them last year and thought the wines were well made. Picked up some '06 Petite Sirah and Zinfandel and will be looking to have those soon.
Mike-I enjoyed visiting them a couple of years ago. Got turned on to them by Tom G’s comments in the past. Some of their stuff is falling outside my developing preference for more restrained style, but occasionally they really rock.
