Had a glass of this tonight at one of the wine bars in town.

Pretty nice nose, meat, tobacco, black currant, and blueberries. On the palate it is rather light, silky smooth, and not that complex. Fresh blackberry flavors and some spices add some depth, but there isn’t a whole lot going on. I also found it to be lacking structure and maybe a little bit too much alcohol heat and oak. Overall this is very modern and nice, but I’m glad I don’t own any, I would be pretty disappointed.

Searching the web i see it sells for around $70…ouch.

If I was served blind I would have thought mid-tier Cali-syrah. Luckily Jess had a great Moscatel from Spain and we split a glass of Sauternes with pumpkin bread pudding. That saved the night!
