2006 Jean Masson Vin de Savoie Apremont Cuvée Nicolas - France, Savoie, Vin de Savoie Apremont (8/25/2009)
Plastic cork. Nose of citrus rind, white flowers and lemon oil. Lemony stoney palate with plenty of fruit across and a tart citrus finish. Strong cutting acidity. Reminiscent of somewhat powerfully fruited Muscadet. A big step up from the Cuvee Lisa of same vintage and a bit louder than the 05’s. A Garagiste winner. Very good.

I will keep buying the wines of this producer from Garagiste. Consistently very good and in the style I like my whites. A bargain under $20.
