Color: beautifully dark, yet clear enough to read text through the glass
Nose: rich red fruit, raspberry, strawberry, baking spice, a little nutmeg and/or cinnamon?
Palate: sweet delicious red fruits as noted above, lovely mouth filling texture, with well integrated tannins. Not heavy on the finish, and all parts of the palate are quite happy.
Sir u do love those Oregon pinots!! What changes/influences are on board now that Dr. Loosen is involved in the project?

Jay Somers & Ernst Loosen are only collaborating on one or two wines (Appassionata and Two Worlds) as a project, rather than all of the wines, but I think Loosen is helping finance the establishment of the J Christopher winery. I don’t think that there will be much change to the J Christopher portfolio - Ernst knows better than to try to fix something that isn’t broken.
