2006 Henry Fessy Moulin-à-Vent Cuvée Clothilde - France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Moulin-à-Vent (12/8/2009)
Cherry pie and a little earth on the nose. The palate is very smooth and light in weight, with lots of dark cherry flavor and a refreshing acidic streak. Light and very slightly grainy tannins show up on the side palate and provide a nice grip. A longish finish shows a chalky earth flavor to complement the fruit. A very satisfying bottle.
