Tasted September 5, 2009 at a retail tasting.

Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of Kirsch, white pepper, black cherries and scorched earth. Flavors of Bing cherries, berries, plums and bitters on the medium finish. Medium acidity, firm tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink now with a decent amount of air or continue to hold. (90 pts.)

I purchased a few of these from the tasting room, and have been very happy with the 2 that I have opened. A tremendous value at around $28.

Then that makes the 2004 that I got a few years ago for $16 an even better value.
