TN: 2006 Eno Wines Grenache "Yes, Dear..."

First note on the new board.

Posted from CellarTracker

Over on Garrs forum this month, we are tasting “reds for summer drinking”. Looks like this might possibly qualify, like some other Grenache out there?

Hi, Ken! It’s wonderful to see you here. Thanks for the note.

Welcome to WB!

Thanks, Melissa. I had been wondering where you and a few other people had gotten off to.

Sasha does a great job with Eaglepoint Ranch fruit. Sadly, 2008 was his last year with the vineyard since he is only going to make Pinot or Syrah this year. Good news though…>Ed Kurtzman is getting the Eaglepoint fruit. While sad that Sasha won’t be getting it, I am excited to see what Ed does with Grenache…You go EZ-Mother f***in E.

Word.

to yer motha

Thanks for the note.

Jason

I’d hardly call it a done deal, but I’m hoping I can get some of this fruit. Casey and I traded a phone message each, but we haven’t spoken live yet. I love what Sasha did with the Eaglepoint Grenache.

I was doing some computer work at home last week and had ESPN on in the background. They were showing a semi-final round of the national spelling bee. I’d estimate that 90% of the contestants spelled their words correctly and made it to the finals, at least while I was watching. Then this one 12 year old boy (give or take a year) was asked to spell Grenache. The moderater repeatedly pronounced it as if it were spelled Granache, so that’s how the boy spelled it–and was of course eliminated from the tourney.

I am calling DrVino and the Wall Street Journal … I want that moderator out of there.

Sorry Ed - heard it was a done deal. I am mistaken. At any rate I do hope you get the fruit.
