This wine comes from the east side of Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Cab Sauv - 42%, Merlot 33%, Cab Franc 25%. purchased on a trip last year. purple color with a ruby rim this wine has aromas of plum, green peppercorn, and cassis. It is medium bodied with cranberry flavors and a hint of green pepper (from the cab franc). It is fruit forward and drinking very well tonight with a little air. Could last a couple more years but I’m not sure I see it getting better. But I hope it would develop some terciary elements. Nice acidity on the finish.
Can’t wait to stop by in a few weeks and try their new releases.
