TN: 2006 Concha y Toro Sauvignon Blanc Terrunyo Block 28 (Chile, Aconcagua, Casablanca Valley)

Traci picked this up at K&L Wines for about $10 or $11. A definite buy again at that price. Nose is interesting showing more apple, a little grapefruit, stone fruit and some slate - almost reminded me of a Riesling w/out the petrol.

On the palate this is crisp with more stone fruit, some herbaciousness, a little minerality, and finishes with a little lemon/citrus. It’s got a definite push but is still crisp, light and lively. A terrific SB. (88 pts.)

Thanks for the note Tony. I have passed by this wine multiple times at Central Market. Will pick one up next time as I am in an “expand my white wine horizons” mode these days.
