2006 Concha y Toro Sauvignon Blanc Terrunyo Block 28 - Chile, Aconcagua, Casablanca Valley (6/16/2009)
Traci picked this up at K&L Wines for about $10 or $11. A definite buy again at that price. Nose is interesting showing more apple, a little grapefruit, stone fruit and some slate - almost reminded me of a Riesling w/out the petrol.
On the palate this is crisp with more stone fruit, some herbaciousness, a little minerality, and finishes with a little lemon/citrus. It’s got a definite push but is still crisp, light and lively. A terrific SB. (88 pts.)
