2006 Château d’Issan, Margaux
Had this wine in my summerhouse, saturday. The colour was a deep dark ruby. nice thin tears on the glass. The nose was put together by a load of pure red and black fruits. On top of that there was a fair amount of rosted coffee notes. The taste was really nice. It was quite drinkable. medium bodied and very soft. Some tannins in the background but not too much. This was a Bordeaux wine I really liked! :razz:

The 2000 is a great wine. I have had it 3 times. The 2005 is also excellent. I have a 1983 teed up for next week. Never had the 2006.
I have a 2005 laying down. Glad to see the positive notes on the 2006.
