TN: 2006 Chateau Dereszla Tokaji Dry (Hungary, Hegyalja, Tokaji)

Having another bottle of this tonight, and it continues to ROCK my Hungarian World! I couldn’t find any difference from my last TN, so it’s pretty much a lazy note:

2006 Chateau Dereszla Tokaji Dry - Hungary, Hegyalja, Tokaji (9/03/2009)
Pale white grape juice in color. Beautiful sweet white blossom, lemon creme, raw peanut, exotic tropical fruit nose. In the mouth, sweet, yet balanced with nice tart dryness! WONDERFUL creamy tropical fruit, some tart green apple, lemon water, dusty citrus spices, little raw peanut, honeysuckle. Reminds me of a Belle Pente Riesling with the peanut thing…a little Riesling/Viognier/Muscat/Sauvignon Musque blend. Very interesting and SUPER tasty wine! Love the balance of sweetness, dryness, florals! This is a revelation wine for me…need to try more Hungarian wines! (93 pts.)

Anyone else out there enjoying these Hungarian BEAUTIES???
