nose: pretty and savory nose of plums, dark cherries, bits of violets and other various purple florals, along with some bits of dark berries
taste: smooth and delicious medium feel with good medium+ acidity. Well balanced and pretty tones of dark cherries, berries, leather, and floral tones with a touch of black licorice
overall: A great chianti. Has a real savory quality to it that is ever so attractive. Excellent depth, along with having real fresh tones on both the nose and palate. Well balanced, this comes off as being able to do some aging, but one would have a hard time keeping their hands off of it (91 pts.)
