14.5% alcohol. This is a terrific wine. Dark red color. Very pretty nose of black currant and a hint of red fruits, a touch of vanilla, and earthy spice box. In the mouth, plush and balanced, with terrific concentration and purity of fruit, complemented by very nice acidity and smooth, ripe tannins on the back end. This is terrific and, while not a long-term ager, will provide much pleasure over the next 3-5 years. A-
