TN: 2006 Ata Rangi Pinot

Had this tonight with my $10.99 lb. Copper River Sockeye.

Major Franks advise me to open this wine early and I’m glad I did. By the time dinner was served this wine was singing. A beautiful nose, great balance that went perfectly with the fish and a nice smooth finish. Gotta tell ya, they know how to make Pinot in NZ.

Nice,

I’m glad it showed well.

Figures you’d be the first to chime in.

I’m probably one of the only people on this board drinking Ata Rangi. New Zealand wines don’t seem to be very popular here and that’s a shame.

Since when do they make Bordeaux in New Zealand?

Damn right, killer Pinot for the money and I only have one left.

Oh, BTW, Paula is on call Saturday, lets do a lunch.

Can’t do it. I’m golfing with Jason. You blew it earlier today.
