What a great wine.

2006 Alesia Sonoma Coast

The nose is primary pinot. Vibrant and delicious cherry on the palate.
There is length here. Not a lot of complexity at this point but this is delicious and balanced. Terrific effort to me. Bravo!

Thanks for the note Don. Been putting off digging into anymore of my 06 wines but I was thinking the SC needed a test drive the other day.

Thanks for the note. One of my faves right now. It needs time, agreed, but a tasty little wine. The 06 Rhys Alpine is even better and the 2007s I are probably going to top them both.
