I discovered a hidden bottle of this last week in the locker. What a good find! This is an outstanding WV Pinot Gris. Redolent with aromas of ripe melon with a hint of tarragon, this hits the olfactory receptors mid nostril.
Medium plus bodied and rich with melon and lots of earthy flavors, beautifully balanced by the acidity that lingers n the long finish. I put this right up there with the 2005 St. Innocent Pinot Gris Shea as the best domestic PG I have tasted. Delish, and the crabcakes will be cooked up soon. Let the weekend begin.
