2005 Rusden Shiraz Black Guts - Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley (10/3/2009)
WIMLNR
Tasted October 3, 2009 at a retail tasting.
Purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Absolutely huge nose of roasted coffee beans, fried bacon, black berries, roasted meat and a bit of blueberries. Big and jammy flavors of black berries, raspberries, blakc cherries and overly dominating taste of sweet tarts on the finish that is quite offputting. Medium to bright acidity, medium to firm tannins, full bodied. Weird palate presence, weird finish, disjointed. I’ve enjoyed Robitussin better than this before therefore no rating.
