2005 Roar Pinot Noir Rosella’s Vineyard - USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Lucia Highlands (12/19/2009)
High toned cake spiced fruit…cranberry/cherry/wild strawberries…fresh crushed and delicious. Classic ROAR dried herbs, clove, and candied spices…brown sugar, florest floor, florals. Little “cocktailly” with some strawberry martini. The mix of sweet fruit, with the tart crancherry acidity, and smoky/earthy nuances works really well. This is just flat out tasty Ca. Pinot…period.
