    A real disappointment for me - such a promising opening with beautiful aromas of raspberries and lavender but the dark fruit and coffee notes were clipped by simple glycerin, a hollow midpalate, soft tannins and stifled finish - second bottle with consistent notes (85 pts.)

What am i missing here?
This wine had no sense of place.
I have enjoyed the estate wines but this was too simple for me. I did not order the 2006 version.
