2005 Philippe Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Embrazees - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru (12/20/2009)
Golden yellow fruit…quite tropical with some coconut, as well as tart lemon citrus. Creamy, some waxy honeycomb, spice, minerals, toffee. Quite weighty…kind of reminds me of Leeuwin Estate with the tropical fruit. Nice wine…but I prefer a little more stones and less tropicalness when in Burgundy. (91 pts.)
