    Took some time to open, but well worth the wait. Game on the nose with a smoke that seems to be from the meatiness(like the wafting of cooking on the BBQ). Deep Ruby color. Kind of think this is a bit of a hidden gem. Some subtle white pepper comes through. Raspberry fruit shows as does some blue. So hard to say if it should be drank now as it is so good, but I do see it getting even better. I will be on the look out for this as I picked this up recently for under $30.

I didn’t know Adam was getting ahold of Unti Vineyard fruit. Unti’s estate Syrah was the first California Syrah I ever had, almost a decade ago.
