TN: 2005 Nit de Nin (Priorat)

60% Garnacha, 30% Carinena, and 10% Syrah

In Barrel for 18 months (French Oak).

I had this bottle last night with burgers at Richard Blais’ new spot here in ATL Flip ( http://www.flipburgerboutique.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ). This really is a great wine, a baby, with and immense amount of grip. Very dark in color, but difficult to get an exact color as it was dark in the room. Very smooth on the palate, well balanced and not overly alcoholic, even at 15+% This wine was easily approachable, even at its young age and was a treat to drink. Some bottle age can only improve this wine. A lot of complex dark fruits.

Very nice, thanks John.

I liked it. Too bad our server only like White Zin . . .
