2005 Lindstrom Wines Cabernet Sauvignon - USA, California, Napa Valley, Stags Leap District (11/27/2017)
My second of four and a big step up from the bottle I drank in 2013. I opened the wine about 2 hours before drinking and the taste when opened told me that we would be in for a treat. Drank to accompany grilled beef tenderloin. The wine was very aromatic with earthy dark fruits, some eucalyptus. The palate was dark fruit, earth, leather. The balance was beautiful with fully integrated tannin and an elegant air. Medium finish. I would say this is at or near peak drinking. (96 pts.)
