• 2005 Hospices de Nuits Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Didiers Cuvée Jacques Duret Bouchard Père et Fils (Hospices Auction Group) - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru (11/27/2014)
  Darkly floral and pretty, with bright sweet dark fruit framed by some smoky oak and backed by iron and earth, both on the nose and the palate. Finish was mid-length, but the wine was nicely integrated and one of the better bottles of this I’ve opened. It would seem that the oak is finally starting to marry well with the wine. Not bad with our Coq au Vin but alone it would be too oaky for my tastes. This was finished by Bouchard.
