TN: 2005 Frédéric Magnien Charmes-Chambertin

• 2005 Frédéric Magnien Charmes-Chambertin - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru (12/1/2010)
  This had me at hello. Beautiful balance of darker fruit, minerals,peppers,oak,and purple florals.
  The nose is a skosh ahead of the palate for sure but this did smooth out a bit with air. Nice acidity,dark and red fruits,
  oak,dirt,into a real nice mineral driven finish. This is darn young to be certain but was quite drinkable as a p and p.
  A real beauty. 93+ (93 pts.)
