2005 Faiveley Côte de Beaune Villages - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Côte de Beaune Villages (11/22/2009)
13.0% alcohol. A pure and beautiful wine. Shimmering cherry color. Delightful bouquet of red cherries, flowers, and minerals. In the mouth, structured and like a laser beam, shooting cherry fruit across the palate and fanning out into a pleasing breadth of earthy complexity. Plenty of acidity and good tannin on the back end. Strong finish. Just a super value. A-
