This has fleshed out a bit more since the winter. Really a terrific bottle of wine.

This baby is really growing into its shoes. It’s a Cali Cotes du Rhone if there ever was one. Smoke and meat on the nose, the palate is exuberant, fresh and lively with strawberry fruit and a flinty-mineral note that just focuses everything. With time, sweet blueberry fruit emerges. Worth every freaking cent of the $16 I paid for it. Bravo ESJ.
