    Bought direct when first offered, this wine has matured very nicely. Popped, decanted and poured. There was sediment in the bottom. The cola Pinot funk is gone. The cherry fruit has sweetened. There is spice and the roughness of its youth has smoothed out. This went down easily and disappeared fast with seared duck breasts. (92 pts.)

Wow Jay. I haven’t had a duMol for a long time, but used to buy them regularly. CT shows I still have 1 2003 eddys patch syrah… your note has made me interested in drinking it.

I am in the sme boat. It was my first mail order list but I stopped buying after a few years because I just didn’t like having an all or othing order choice. Buying half an allocation was a pain.
But I always liked the wine.
