2005 DuMOL Pinot Noir Russian River Valley - USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (11/28/2009)
Decanted two hours, enjoyed over two. Smoke, root beer on the nose. Red fruits on the palate, cherries, raspberries, a hint of sage and savory. Very smooth mouthfeel. Good long finish, punctuated by a shot of bracing acidity midway down the throat. Very enjoyable bottle of wine, paired wonderfully with seafood risotto.
