TN: 2005 DuMOL Chardonnay Chloe

In several past tastings, I have found this to be an impressive chard . I had not tried one in 6 months or so until last night, and the wine again showed impressively. The wine is richly textured, with notes of butterscotch, blood orange, lemon peel and a pronounced mineral companent. It has vibrant acidity, and while some oak is present it is unobtrusive and well integrated. I think this wine has years to go but is very enjoyable now.

Thanks for the note Brad. I dined with Kerry Murphy at my Culinary Festival in April and he thought that they would be ready in this coming fall. I have a few and look forward to them as well.
