Tasted October 3, 2009 at a retail tasting.

Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Lovely nose of violets, dark chocolate, plums and a bit of potpourri. Flavors of plums, currants, raspberries and cherries. Medium acidity, slightly firm tannins still, medium to full bodied. Somewhat elegant and quite pleasing on the palate. Hold for another 2-5 years and then drink over the medium to long term. (92 pts.)

Good note. I had this recently and agree with you on the drinking time. The wine was good the first night, but I put about 1/2 of it away for the night and it was still very fresh and good the next night.
