2005 Azienda Agricola Masciarelli Montepulciano d’Abruzzo - Italy, Abruzzi, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo (3/9/2009)
Rustic notes over woody rich fruit. Rich and well fruited for such a bargain wine. Plenty of tannin but fairly inexpressive on the palate. I think there is plenty of wood to pick up the palate some. Mouth filling with decent balance. Hard to do much better for $7 daily drinkers. Good buy.

Tried this at a WineX Features Tasting. Another nice wine on the low end of pricing.
