    Red fruited nose with notes of juniper and stony earth. Fleshy fruit up front and strongly tannic on the back with a clear flavor of wood. Doesn’t smack of fresh oak but more of old barrels. Won’t set your palate on fire but a good package for $7. Worked great with pasta and red sauce.
