Oh my this was hitting on all cylinders. Fantastic drink. Soaring aromatics palate fantastic. Just at a tasting with the 2006 and 2007. My recall sucks about those (theye were good but I can’t really compare to the 2005 by memory) but this was just great
Falstaff Road Pinot is my favorite Alesia bottling. Wish they were keeping this one.
Nice Alan,
I really like this site also.
I know it is hard for Kevin to keep all these sites.
This is one I wished he could hang onto for some time.
I hear you guys, and we really like those wines too. I think once people begin to see the wines that are coming from our Horseshoe and Skyline Vineyards and what we think will be coming from our Bearwallow project, it will become clearer why we’ve chosen to focus on our estate wines. The decision was not an easy one by any stretch, but I think it’s the right one. We’re really excited for what’s coming down the line.
Having graciously sampled one of those wines - I am certainly excited for more of the Estate fruit.
That said, I learned about the ‘Second Rhys’ label that may be coming. Interesting…
Enjoying my Alesias while the others get a bit longer in the tooth.
I like this one a lot too, Alan.
Could drink it often an be happy.
Cheers.
