2004 Sylvie Esmonin (Michel et Fille) Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos St. Jacques - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru (2/21/2011)
Black fruits and earthy aroma. On the palate dry with impressive fruit, well integrated oak, good acidity, fine tannins, good complexity, and long lingering finish. Has this any overt “green” character, certainly not, it is an excellent 70% whole cluster wine. (91 pts.)
