2004 Rivers-Marie Cabernet Sauvignon - USA, California, Napa Valley (1/3/2010)
This wine is really hitting its stride. Sadly, my last bottle, but oh so enjoyable. Loads of dark, soft fruit, hints of mocha, cassis and cigar smoke. Well built and wonderful to drink TRB really did a great job with this wine. (92 pts.)

The first '04 I opened was within 6 months of arrival. It was tannic, tough and unyielding. I just put the remainder far back in the vinotemp and forgot about them.
