    14.1% alcohol. Terrific showing. Another year has advanced this wine as expected. Black cherry color. Slight bretty funk on the nose, but it blows off and reveals a pure, soaring black cherry and blackberry bouquet, with spice and earth. In the mouth, this has really become plush and velvety, with juicy black cherry, refined spice, softened acidity, and a long finish that shows just a touch of heat. Really drinking beautifully. A-

Great to see this was showing well. The 04 Sonaterra had some ahem issues.

Great note. I was very surprised at how well this was drinking considering the vintage. Thanks for my first bottle of Rhys Tom.

Got one of those queued up. I’ve noticed more brett in that compared to the other 04 Pinots … so we’ll see how that goes :slight_smile:
