TN: 2004 Querciabella Camartina Toscana IGT (Italy, Tuscany, Toscana IGT)

  • 2004 Querciabella Camartina Toscana IGT - Italy, Tuscany, Toscana IGT (1/17/2010)
A blend of cabernet sauvignon and sangiovese, this is a dense drink that is drinking well right now but certainly can get better with a few more years. Nearly opaque, nose offers vanilla, oak, flowers, and leather. Still quite tannic, this is full bodied and ripe with fruits (cherry and dark berries) and capped with a long finish. Very well made. Clem,

Thank you for posting the note. Hard to believe their are only 2 CT TN’s on this wine several years after release, but your note gives me hope after the single negative TN that has been hanging out there. Sounds like it could benefit from more time, so will leave my two in the back of the cellar for a while. Glad to hear that it should be worth the wait. Thanks!

Cheers, [cheers.gif]
