    Still pretty dark, deep red. My first impression was “This is still really young.” Rich fruit with excellent acid backbone. Some forest floor and an anise thing going on in the nose and a bit of candy. Medium to full bodied. Lovely herbs and more deep ripe fruit as it opens. Delicious long finish with red and black fruit. A pretty dense Pinot with a good life ahead of it though there is little tannin remaining.

High on both the yummy factor and the intellectual interest scale. (92 pts.)

Thanks for the note. Was planning to bring one to my wine group dinner next week along with an 04 Stony Hill Chard.
