    Decanted 90 minutes, enjoyed over three hours. Smoky, black currant, black licorice, cassis nose. Black plum, fig, licorice and cinnamon in the mouth. Such a symphony of scents, flavors, texture. Lovely balance, structure and elegance in this wine. Such a wonderful pairing with osso bucco over linguini. One of those “oh my g-d” wines.

I am glad to see a tasting note on this wine and mirrors my own impressions as well… It is one of my favorite producers. I also enjoy their Cuvee and Roberta’s Reserve.

Highly recommended boutique wine.

I remember tasting this wine when it was first released and being like, “this is the next great producer.”

I had this a few months back and it was stellar. Have a lone bottle that I traded for.

This wine was stupendous, quite possibly my WOTY. I commented that if all Napa Valley Cabernet were made like this I’d drink a lot more Cabernet.

I’m a big fan of this wine and have been on the Kapcsandy bandwagon since I first tried it at one of Posners tastings a few years ago. You can still find it for under $100 which is a relative bargain for the quality. I’ve tried the 07’s on three occasions and they are all absolutely mind blowing. Great and wine and great people.
