TN: 2004 Dönnhoff Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Riesling Spätlese #10

  • 2004 Dönnhoff Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Riesling Spätlese #10 - Germany, Nahe (12/6/2009)
Pale yellow in color, peach on the palate. Balanced sweetness with acidity. As the wine opens up, melon and citrus notes appear. Nice sweetness and viscosity with a touch of acidity on the finish. Nice wine! Pairs well with Mango Chicken (inspired by Martin’s Berlin Kitchen).

Nice notes Nancy. We had the 2003 last week. We loved it. It’s my wife’s new favorite wine!

Donnhoff is my wife’s favorite as well

Berry - I’m trying to get her hooked on Burgundy!

My wife’s favorite too. I try to hide my Brucke and Hermannshole for longer aging, but the 2004’s in general have been so user friendly from the get-go. I love me some Kirscheck!

I strongly recommend 08 Dönnhoff “Oberhäuser Leistenberg” Kabinett
