TN: 2004 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis 1er Cru Montmains

Little worried at first, with some dreaded dried wine under capsule…but one sniff, and we’re all good! Classic Chablis standard…lemon/mineral stones/seashell/chalk…richer fruit of pear, peach, melon, green apple than you see in 2004. Well balanced with some slightly toasted marshmallow oak, ginger ale, key lime pie crust. Bright and refreshing lemon/lime acidity…making this wine a true joy to drink. Quality Fevre…and VERY tasty! Just KILLER…day 2 @ room temp! [worship.gif]

I had a very similar positive experience with this wine. I only wish I had more patience to see what this wine does over the next ten years.
