  Popped and poured, enjoyed over 3 hours. Dark, rich color. Started out a bit tight, fruit dominates. After 30 minutes, smoky, earthy, dark fruits, long finish. Rich & thick, just lacking in the acidity that would make this a much more interesting wine.

04 was a pretty warm fall up here. We had 100+/- degree temps through Sept., which is extremely rare. I made a few acid additions in 04.
We missed you up here, Brian. Maybe next year.
